Spring Ridge Academy

Location & Facilities

Spring Ridge Academy is located on a 27 acre campus in the town of Spring Valley, about a one hour drive north of Phoenix, Arizona.

Phoenix is served by a number of major airlines, and rental cars are available at the airport. It is also possible to fly from Phoenix to Prescott, Arizona which is about a 30 minute drive from the Academy.

Parents who are visiting and staying overnight can choose to enjoy the urban sophistication of Phoenix, or select accommodations in charming, nearby Prescott.

Students are housed two or four to a room in a recently-completed dormitory facility that meets or exceeds all current standards of Arizona Behavioral Health Services. There is 24 hour a day adult supervision by experienced program personnel.

The Academy is not a locked facility. While our location is a deterrent to runaways, we believe the strongest deterrent is a program that makes a student feel positive about herself and her opportunities in the world.

The food we serve is healthy and wholesome, with an emphasis on fruits, vegetables, and grains and a minimum of high-fat "junk foods."

We maintain a very high staff-to-student ratio not just in our academic program, but throughout. This enables us to provide the individual attention that is mandatory in order to achieve the kind of change and redirection we expect.
