The opportunity to work with adolescents is both rewarding and challenging. It takes professionals who are knowledgeable and who possess previous experience working with young women in residential placement. Spring Ridge Academy is licensed by the Arizona Department of  Health Services as a Level 3 Behavioral Health Residential Agency – License Number BH-1721 and its therapists are skilled Masters level, licensed professionals who understand adolescents and who bring to this arena their expertise in designing an integrated program that utilizes an overlay of techniques addressing individual, group and family issues.

The quality of the therapeutic focus remains consistent throughout the program, from assisting a student and her parents in adjusting to the schools schedule to creating a plan of action for after graduation activities.

Students will attend a one hour individual therapy session weekly, and group therapy or group meetings are held daily Monday through Friday.  Topics covered include accountability, boundaries, body image, relationships and trust.
