Family Meetings
The Spring Ridge Academy population is divided into four smaller units called “families”.
Family meetings focus on teamwork, community building, leadership and creating solutions. Through family meetings students will learn to work together through planning and executing projects, service, games and activities. Students will gain an understanding of group dynamics, conflict resolution, relationship building, student government, trust, feedback, friendship and fun.
ARC Meetings (Accountability, Responsibility, Change)
The purpose of ARC meetings is to focus on accountability and choice in relationships and daily life. Meetings focus on exploring patterns of behavior, self-limiting beliefs, results and agreements. Feedback, support and positive peer interaction will be emphasized. Group topics include: Results, Lessons, Feedback, Withholds, Community Issues, Student Leadership and Life topics.
