COOK(s) - Full and Part-Time Positions Available
Full time schedule: Wednesday - prep and serve dinner 1 PM-8 PM -- Thursday-Friday-Saturday - prep and serve lunch and dinner 9 AM-8PM
Part time schedule: Prep and serve breakfast five days weekly 5:30AM-10AM
- Maintains the kitchen and dining hall to meet Arizona Health Department standards
- Is aware of and adheres to all items of Article R9-10-719 Food Services, of Behavioral Health Residential Facilities Administrative Rules
- Develops nutritious, balanced daily meals and snacks
- Oversees the preparation and serving of all meals and snacks
- Meals are served timely to avoid disruption of daily schedule
- Prepares menu at least one week in advance, and posts weekly menu – maintaining copies for 60 days after last calendar day included in the menu
- Coordinates and orders food and kitchen supplies
- Puts orders away in a timely manner and keeps storage areas organized.
- Food products are labeled and date marked properly and stored in compliance with Health Department standards at all times
- Ensures raw, thawing, or uncooked foods are not stored on or above ready to eat food products
- Rotate food products on hand being aware of expiration dates and dispose of any food products beyond date of expiration
- Ensures bulk food products and bulk single service items are stored a minimum of 6 inches up off flooring
- Ensures food is cooked to appropriate temperatures and salad bar items are served and kept at appropriate temperatures to maintain compliance with Health Department standards.
- Defrosts ice accumulations on food products in freezer as needed
- Manages expenses within a set budget
- Works with the students who have special dietary needs; i.e. religious or health
- Follows physician instructions on special health dietary needs
- Provides documentation necessary for annual review of menus with dietician
- Performs inventory of food, supplies and equipment
- Ensures kitchen equipment is scheduled for routine maintenance.
- Cleans the salad, sandwich and soup bar
- Washes all dishes per standards set by Spring Ridge Academy and Health Department
- Keeps clean, the kitchen floors daily
- Monitors all kitchen utensils, ensuring that all cutlery and other sharp objects are kept under lock & key
- Maintains current food handling and health certificates
- Maintain proper temperature logs as requested
- Creates and implements a curriculum for student cooking classes held Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

Therapist
Description
Directs & supports the movement of the student through the Phase Program. The successful candidate will understand & approach therapy from a Family Therapy/Systems point of view, & understands how family dynamics influences the development of adolescents & be able to address issues from a developmental point of view. SRA therapists facilitate weekly individual & family therapy sessions, two group therapy sessions, & occasional psycho-educational groups & workshops given over a three-day period; Treatment planning throughout enrollment including discharge planning and general clinical documentation in alignment with SRA policy & licensure.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling; Minimum three years experience with adolescents & their families; Level I & II EMDR training through the EMDR Institute highly desirable but not required; Licensed or license-eligible in the State of AZ as LMFT, LCSW, or LPC preferred.

Community Coach
DescriptionResponsible for supervision & over-site of students; assisting them in daily functions. Includes crisis management, mentoring students & focusing on problem solving & goal setting, personal responsibility & accountability; awareness of their patterns of behavior & choices. Involvement & participation in group process, provides input to treatment team meetings.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED; pluses are an Associate Degree. Experience working with adolescents; minimum age requirement of 21.
