Our Philosophy
What makes Spring Ridge Academy different from other programs is our treatment philosophy. Our comprehensive approach to the therapeutic, academic, social and physical needs of each student and their family creates improved outcomes. We address issues through the utilization of a thorough, multi-faceted therapeutic program. In addition we create a challenging but supportive academic environment with our fully accredited college preparatory school. Creativity, art and dance are the common thread that ties our therapy and academics together. By allowing students to express themselves creatively we can identify core issues that need to be addressed. This all leads to an open and supportive culture that encourages connection and growth.
student profile
At Spring Ridge Academy we have a focused admissions criteria. The young women that SRA helps are bright, talented and highly creative individuals who are struggling to manage their lives. Often these are young women involved in a variety of risky and/or addictive behaviors that are sabotaging their relationships and affecting their academic careers. The SRA student is very capable and talented but has lacked the self-esteem and self-discipline needed to be successful. Spring Ridge Academy is a therapeutic boarding school targeting adolescent girls, ages 13 – 17 in grades 9 – 12.
