GRADUATE CREDITS SPRING RIDGE ACADEMY WITH SAVING ‘MY PARENT’S RELATIONSHIP, AND MY OWN LIFE’
“SRA has become my second home,” she wrote. “This place saved parent’s relationship, and my own life,” she said. “I have grown tremendously.”
In 2016, a Spring Ridge Academy graduate never imagined looking back on her life and realizing how much she had learned.
“I can’t believe this day has come,” she wrote in a graduation speech.
The young woman explained how the daily tasks of life were difficult and caused trouble. Her relationships suffered. And she did not see a way out.
Enter SRA.
Through coursework, programs and relationships at SRA, the girl turned troubling behavior into cherished moments.
“SRA has become my second home,” she wrote. “This place saved parent’s relationship, and my own life,” she said. “I have grown tremendously.”
She went on to say how the professional staff at SRA showed her how to trust anyone–including herself.
“Most importantly, I showed myself that I’m a lovely young lady who opens the door passionately and eagerly.”
The girl said while SRA helped her develop skills to combat the struggles of life, she understood how the work needs to continue.
“Yet things are not perfect, I am not fixed. Far from. I’m not quite sure of anything these days, but that’s half the fun,” she wrote. “The only thing I am sure of is that, in the end, I’ve got my family and I’ve got myself. And that’s all I can ask for.”
