‘I CAN ACCOMPLISH ANYTHING, DO ANYTHING, BE ANYTHING,’ GRADUATE SAYS THANKS TO 16-MONTH STAY AT SPRING RIDGE ACADEMY
“There is no way this growth could stop, because I will never stop again,” she wrote in the speech. “I have such a deep understanding of myself and my values.”
Spring Ridge Academy has been instrumental in helping young people shape their lives.
Now, as graduation season approaches across the country, SRA is taking a look back at some of the many success stories through the eyes of those who attended the academy.
“I came to Spring Ridge Academy feeling like a prisoner,” one young woman wrote in a graduation speech. “The weight was dark, desperate and killing me,” she said.
After attending programs at SRA, the young woman explained how she developed the skills and behaviors she felt were necessary to succeed in life.
“There is no way this growth could stop, because I will never stop again,” she wrote in the speech. “I have such a deep understanding of myself and my values.”
The young woman thanked her friends, her parents and the SRA staff for being there for her during her time at SRA.
“So it’s absolutely freaking nuts, 16 months here and I am finally leaving,” she said. “I’m free. I can accomplish anything, do anything, be anything–because I am free to do so. I allowed myself to have the world’s joy and freedom,” she wrote.
