About Spring Ridge Academy
Spring Ridge Academy is committed to creating success and excellence for young women in today’s world. SRA provides and preserves an intellectually, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually nurturing environment. Young women are challenged with the opportunity to confront self-limiting beliefs, attitudes and behaviors and establish new and empowering beliefs, attitudes and behaviors that generate the development of academic mastery, emotional balance, leadership abilities and life skills.
Spring Ridge Academy consists of six integrated facts to meet the needs of young women and their families. The program includes an ambitious and personalized academic program focusing on college preparation; a complete physical conditioning program including fitness, yoga, dance, body awareness, movement and women’s health related issues; individual, groups and family therapy, a unique series of workshops for students, parents and families; an extensive community integration curriculum centering on the development of social, occupational, and life skills; a unique humanities program integrating the visual and performing arts to enhance an understanding of self, community and history.
Spring Ridge Academy is about a process, and it as a process that very much involves you. Parents play an active role in the Spring Ridge Academy program – a program based on family systems. No matter how angry, frightened or confused you may be with your daughter at this moment, you remain deeply committed to her welfare and deeply hopeful about seeing her become a successful person in the world.
