A Parent's Perspective
I know what it feels like to be in the position of having to hand over the most precious thing in your life to someone else, coming to terms with the fact that your love can no longer help, that you are at a dead end and you have exhausted every other option. I know what it feels like to realize that your family has become unmanageable and beyond your control.
After visiting and exploring many other school options for my daughter, the moment we stepped onto the campus of Spring Ridge Academy, the school was clearly in a league of it's own. The staff took the time to answer all of our questions and for the first time in a very long time we found something we thought we had lost forever with our daughter; Hope. Then we meet the girls. These were not just any girls, these were SRA girls and they were proud to show it. We shared lunch with four girls who would forever change our family's lives. We asked candid questions and they answered with an honesty and realness I have never encountered before in this age group. I saw the best version of my daughter in the eyes of each and everyone of the girls I met and that is when we knew this would be the best choice for her. I wanted my daughter in an environment where she could look around at any moment and see examples of what is possible for her in her own life if she works hard and believes in herself. I wanted my daughter to be inspired and when I left SRA after my first visit, I felt inspired and knew at that moment we had made the right choice.
Not only did Spring Ridge Academy help my daughter rediscover herself, they engaged and challenged our whole family to participate, learn and grow along side her. That has been the most significant experience of SRA; the family involvement. The staff at SRA has gone above my expectations to be available whenever I have a question. I feel truly connected to Spring Ridge Academy, although the school is far from my home, the staff goes out of their way to make you feel a part of their community.
I cannot say enough about SRA; they provided possibility when there was none and for that we are forever grateful.
