Athletics

High school athletics represent a valuable opportunity to experience teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship, discipline, dedication and competition.

Whether a student has a background in competitive athletics or is interested in trying something new, there are a variety of athletic teams and opportunities offered at Spring Ridge Academy.

Teams practice before school and during extracurricular time. Spring Ridge Academy is part of the Canyon Athletic Association (CAA) and plays against local private and charter schools. The cross-country team accesses local to 5K, 10K and half marathon races.

Extracurricular Activites

Extracurricular activities are an integral part of our program.  Extracurriculars rotate each quarter, allowing you to try new activities, foster passions, develop teamwork skills, and refine your skills in an area of interest. For many of the activities, we use local experts to run the activity.

On-Campus Recreation

When you have downtime, our 23-acre campus provides you with a lot of options. Spend time in our garden with the chickens or hanging on the swingset. Play on our sand volleyball court or basketball court. Take a jog on our trail or around our athletic field. Jump on an exercise bike, shoot pool, or play air hockey with your roommates. Grab a puzzle or board game and head to the library with a friend. Don’t know how to choose? Let one of our community coaches know, and they will help you find something to do.
